Terms of Service

The Never Alone Recovery Community exists to support recovery through mutual respect, safety, and group unity. By participating, you agree to treat others with courtesy and respect.

Disruptive, abusive, threatening, harassing, predatory, or unlawful behavior may result in moderation action, including suspension or permanent removal from the platform.

Our moderators review reports submitted through the Complaint system. When participating in a meeting or chat room, moderators are expected to be active members of that community and to place their own recovery first.

Reporting Concerns

If you encounter spam, harassment, threats, scams, illegal activity, or other unsafe behavior, please use the Report feature next to the message or user.

Reports may be submitted anonymously and are handled confidentially. We will review reported content and take appropriate action when necessary to help protect the safety and unity of our community. Including, and especially, in situations involving our Staff.

Private Messages

If a private message is flagged or reported by one or more recipients, its contents may be reviewed by site staff as part of our moderation process.

Why? Screenshots and copied chat logs can be altered or fabricated. When you click Report on a message, you are bringing the original message to our attention and authorizing us to review it.

Recovery Group Autonomy

Never Alone Recovery Community welcomes all recovery fellowships and peer-support groups. Individual groups remain autonomous and are responsible for their own meeting formats, participation guidelines, and group conscience.

As a platform, we encourage the group to adopt core principles outlined in the A.A. Safety Card to help create a safe and welcoming environment for everyone. The full Safety Card is available below for reference.

For more information on this topic, see the

"A.A. Guidelines on Safety and A.A. Groups" (MG-25) at aa.org.
